Making a difference in your community:Kiwis love their sport, and NZCT loves helping them enjoy and participate in their sporting passions. Every year, we give millions of dollars in grants to thousands of applicants from a huge range of sporting groups - from rugby and netball to kayaking and lawn bowls. We are proud to be one the largest funders of amateur sport in New Zealand. While sport is our primary focus, we also provide funds for charitable purposes such as rescue and life-saving services, education, health, the arts, cultural and community groups. Our funds come from NZCT operators up and down the country who run our gaming machines in their hotels, bars and clubs.Where our funding goes:We're committed to ensuring money goes back into the communities in which it was raised. Around 95 percent of our grants will benefit the community where the funds were generated. The remainder goes to national organisations like Outward Bound or Special Olympics who provide widespread benefits to many communities throughout the country

Trillian Trust is a New Zealand based charitable trust, incorporated in May 1999 under the Charitable Trusts Act 1957.The Trust was formed to provide support to other New Zealand based charitable and not-for-profit organisations through grants for specific purposes that benefit the community. As a charitable trust Trillian has no shareholders, directors, or owners. The benefactors of the Trust are the charitable and not-for-profit organisations that receive grants from the Trust.To generate the necessary funds the Trust obtained a licence to operate gaming machines in licensed venues across New Zealand in 1999. The operators licence allows Trillian Trust to distribute the net proceeds from the gaming operation to Authorised Purposes.Since that time the Trust has provided over $50 million in grants to thousands of community organisations.The Trust is an independent boutique gaming operator which prides itself on providing high quality service to it's licensed venues and the community organisations that request and receive funding

The Lion Foundation is one of New Zealand’s oldest and most respected Charitable Trusts. The North & South Trust Limited was set up primarily to support amateur rugby and sport in the Auckland area. The North & South Trust Limited generates funds for its Authorised Purpose by operating gaming machines in the Auckland, Tauranga and Hawkes Bay region.

Pub Charity Limited was established in 2012 to raise funds through gaming machines in hotels and taverns for distribution to grassroots community causes throughout New Zealand.All funds are raised through the support ofPub Charity Limited’s venues.

Grassroots TrustGrassroots Trust is dedicated to providing local funding to local communities supporting amateur sport, education and various charitable community initiatives. 

Grassroots Trust was established in 2003 to support sport, education and community sectors. Many local communities have benefited from a Grassroots Trust grant.

Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology | Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology is an amalgamation of two high performing institutions – Bay of Plenty Polytechnic in Tauranga and Waiariki Institute of Technology in Rotorua. The institutions merged in May 2016 to better meet the education and employment needs of the region
