Competitions Information:

League Dates:

• Age Group (running clock) Friday 9th May – 15^th August 2025 (11 Weeks)
• Premier Grades Wednesday 7^th May – 20^th August (14 weeks)
• A Grade: Wednesday 7^th May – Wednesday 20^th August (13 Weeks) No games 25th July

WBOP Dates:

• 3x3 Baywides – 14th March 2025
• Junior Baywides – 1st August 2025

Divisions:                   

• Premier Grade (Seniors only)
• Premier Reserve (Seniors only)
• A Grade (Seniors & Juniors)
• Age Group Competition (Yr 9&10, Yr 11-13)

Entry Fee per team:

• Premier Grades            $1425.00 (GST Inclusive)
• A Grade                        $1310.00 (GST Inclusive)
• Age Group                    $985.00 (GST Inclusive)

Recommended Team Size:  

• All Grades Minimum 8 and maximum of 12 players. Players may only play in ONE team for the Secondary School Competition. This includes Wednesday and Friday nights. There MUST be an adult with all teams on competition nights.

• Mercury Baypark, Haumaru Centre (formerly the Warehouse on Cameron Road) 

Referees:

• Paid referees will be provided by TCBA (included in fees) 

MOUTH GUARDS ARE COMPULSORY FOR ALL COMPETITIONS.

BBNZ Player Levy

• BBNZ have implemented a playre levy that must be paid when registering players to the teams, this is an annual payment https://nz.basketball/basketball-development-levy-landing-page/
