Our Premier league is the highest domestic competition we have in Tauranga. It plays a vital role in preparing players for Mariners (Men's) &  Coasters (Women's) teams who represent Tauranga City Basketball in regional & national competitions. 

Adult Premier Competition

League Dates:             27th July - 21st September

Cost:                           Entry Fee per team       $765.00

Divisions:                    Premier Men               4 – 6 teams

                                    Premier Women         4 – 6 teams                

(The person who registers the team will be our main contact for all information regarding teams and responsible for arranging payment for the team.)

Team Size:      A minimum of 8 and a maximum of 12 players per team. All players must be registered through the Friendly Manager programme. Each team can have up to one player from a NBL team registered in their team (any player contracted to a NBL team is deemed to be a player, whether or not they take the court in a game). Teams can also have up to two (2) NBL Academy players registered in their teams.                                                            

Game Times:               5.40pm – 7.00pm Monday’s at QEYC Court 2

Referees:                      Two Paid referees will be provided by TCBA for all grades (included in fees)
