EBOP Secondary School Winter Competitions 2026

League Dates:

• Secondary School Boys & Girls Friday 1^st May – 21^st August (14 weeks)
• Bay Wide Tournaments:
• 3x3 Baywides – 6th March 2026
• Juniors – 7^th August 2026
• Seniors – 15^th August 2026

Divisions:                       

• Senior Boys Grade (10 teams only)
• Junior Boys Grade (10 Teams only)
• Senior Girls Grade (4 teams only)
• Junior Girls Grade (4 Teams only)

Entry Fee per team:

• Secondary School Grade $720.00 (11 weeks)

Recommended Team Size:

• All Grades Minimum 8 and maximum of 12

Locations:

• Whakatane War Memorial (Boys Competitions)

Referees: Paid referees will be provided by TCBA (included in fees)

How to Register: All team registrations will take place via Game Day online portal

Player Registration: Players must be registered online, Basketball New Zealand (BBNZ) have implemented a player levy that must be paid when registering players to teams, this is an annual payment https://nz.basketball/basketball-development-levy-landing-page/
